Blake Lively has officially won a major ruling in her explosive legal war with Justin Baldoni.
According to new court documents, a federal judge ruled Friday that Baldoni must pay Lively’s legal fees connected to his dismissed $400 million defamation lawsuit against her.
The legal drama between the former “It Ends With Us” co-stars has been dominating headlines for over a year — and this latest decision is being viewed as a significant win for the “Gossip Girl” actress.
However, the judge denied Blake’s request for triple damages and punitive damages, meaning she won’t receive the extra financial penalties she originally sought.
Still, the court reportedly stated she could continue pursuing damages through other legal options in the future.
Blake’s legal team celebrated the decision, saying the ruling proves she acted “in good faith” and without malice throughout the case. They also praised California laws designed to protect people from retaliatory lawsuits and online smear campaigns.
Meanwhile, Baldoni’s attorney fired back hard, insisting the ruling was only limited to legal fees and claiming there was “no sexual harassment, retaliation or smear campaign.”
The bitter legal fight started back in late 2024 after Lively sued Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment. Baldoni denied all allegations and later launched a massive countersuit against Blake, Ryan Reynolds and their publicist — but that case was ultimately dismissed.
Even crazier? Reports claim BOTH sides spent a staggering $60 MILLION combined during the brutal 18-month courtroom battle.
